Dear Patrons and Friends of TryLight Theatre Co,
As our latest production of Over the River and Through the Woods is behind us and we look to future productions, we want to thank each and every one of you for being the “community” and "family" that has made Kenora’s community theatre a success!
What is community theatre without all the individuals, organizations, businesses, governing bodies, professionals, and volunteers that make up a community? Thankfully, TryLight Theatre Co has not had to consider what that might look like as the company has enjoyed strong, friendly, willing, unique, resilient, creative support from countless community members. Here are some of the roles that were filled most recently by some of our talented community members in the production of Over the River and Through the Woods.

Given that #CommunityTheatreisAliveandWell, TryLight is delighted to present the following for our community members to enjoy:
Later in 2022, TryLight Theatre for Young People will present the classic, Canterbury Tales, rewritten for youth but very entertaining for adults.
In the fall of 2022, we will stage All is Calm, a nostalgic look at a WW I Christmas story that shouldn’t have been.
Stay tuned for some interesting programming and laugh out loud shows presented with the Kenora Dinner Jackets.
And in spring 2023, TryLight will present Kingfisher Days, a magical tale of friendship and wonder -- the perfect gift for the imaginative child in all of us. Based on the book written by local author Susan Coyne.
A top priority for our theatre company has been and is to open the doors to participants and patrons in as safe a manner as possible. Our company protocols worked well during rehearsals and performances of our last two productions. We anticipate these procedures and practices will serve us well into the future.
For those who are still not comfortable gathering or are far away, TryLight will continue to live stream any show for which streaming rights can be purchased.
To all of you that have supported us in the past and we anticipate will support the company into the future, many thanks. We are delighted to be able to say that
#CommunityTheatreisAliveandWell.
