Adapted from Kate DiCamillo’s acclaimed novel, this poignant play centers on Edward Tulane, a vain porcelain rabbit who lives an opulent life but cares for no one but himself. After being accidentally thrown overboard during an ocean voyage, Edward is swept into an unexpected, decades-long odyssey across varied hands and landscapes. Meeting a diverse tapestry of companions—from a humble fisherman to a wandering traveler and an ailing child—he experiences the fragility and beauty of connection. It is an enchanting, universal story of loss, humility, and discovering the courage to open one’s heart.
